| So... UPDATE!!! yes yes i know i haven't had a real update since well
before school started, but come on you know i get side tracked... plus
my xanga was technically updated even though not by me... Anyway for
those who have been bugging me to update (you know who you are) here it
is... don't get mad if its a lousy update either.
UCSD. Home of
the Tritons. Its a beautiful school i must say depsite all the
construction going on. I'll go out and take some shots when i'm not too
lazy and find the time to go do it, so maybe on the next post. A few
people have asked me how it is over here and to tell you the truth...
don't get mad guys... but i love it here. The weather even though cold
at times is wonderful. I can actually see the stars clearly every
single night unless its like cloudy, but still its not because of the
smog. Its awesome! As for school? Well a few people have asked me if i
miss Cal Poly or PCC and i can't say i don't miss them. I don't want to
offend anybody, but UCSD is a whole new level of education. Maybe i
didn't take the more difficult classes at the other two schools, but
there seems to be more pressure to do well on every assignment. I was
so used to the "if i screw up on this assignemt i'll just do well on
the next one to balance it." The thing is at UCSD and probably all the
other UCs is if you screw up on one assignment, you're screwed! The
midterms are anywhere from 20%-30% and the finals are like 40%-50%.
WtF?! When i first heard that from my Profs i felt my heart drop.
However i managed to survive my first quarter actually i take that back
because i don't know my grades yet. So i guess my first quarter being a
success or not will be posted next time. I have never experienced such
a finals week during my years at Pomona or PCC. The finals week here is
CRAZY. People literally live at the study lounges and the library. I
had friends go to the library in the morning so that they can get a
table. How insane is that? As much as i hated finals week, its pretty
cool. All the slackers band together and pull all nighters. Its like a
group effort even though many of us have different classes. You don't
feel alone during finals because of this. You feel like you aren't the
only one screwed. Ahh school... fun times.. BUT ITS WINTER BREAK NOW!!!
WINTER
BREAK!!! unfortunately my leg injury from last season is preventing me
from snowboarding. Blah, its been almost a full year and my leg is
still screwed up. I'm hoping i can at least do the bunny slopes.
Hopefully i don't get hurt trying to do that run. >_< We'll see.
Anyway i'm here in San Diego for the majority of winter break because i
decided to get a job. I know that i told most of you guys that this
year for once i will not be working, but i couldn't pass it up. What
can i say? i'm a poor college student. I'll be doing sales and
marketing for Sharp(an electronics company for those who keep thinking
sharper image). I'm mainly going to be dealing with the Aquos line up
which are their higher end HD LCD TV. For those staying in the San
Diego area i'll be in a few of the Costcos over the holiday season
selling and filling out reports. Sounds exciting huh? I'll be back for
Christmas eve till maybe the 29th or so, so for all the LA people...
lets do something! As for New Year's Eve... i don't know what's going
on yet... are any of you guys willing to drive to San Diego for a
shindig? come on *nudge nudge* If not then i guess i'll drive back down
for a party or something. We'll see what happens when the time gets
closer.

Alright and the new Xanga updating format sucks so i can't upload anymore pictures... Gosh i hate this new process to post pictures! Gah!! Why do these sites think they have to keep upgrading something that was fine? It actually becomes more of a hasssle with these upgrades even though they're aiming for ease of use. *shakes fist* Anyway its 7am and i've fulfilled my promise to update... if some of the things don't make sense then sorry. I will update again soon seeing as i won't have too much to do when i don't have work down here. heheh. hopefully xanga will work more efficiently so i can actually post pictures.
Also i just think this line is SO funny and it always makes me laugh... "I think you dropped your name tag" Come on.. i know you're reading this... you laughed when i did it.. admit it ;P

| Fresh. So i was told its been a
while since i've updated my xanga so uhm yeah i'm updating. My last
post, yikes, was quite old. Anyway I finally moved to San Diego and
started school last week. Eek a new start! I've been settling in the
last week, you know just getting used to where things are and i think
i've gotten the basics down. After a long search i found the Ikea here,
along with Target, Walmart, lowes, home depot, kragen, and my ever so
favorite Costco. I'm just missing 99 ranch market which i think my
roommates and i are going to tomorrow so yay. I also found a Mobile
which has reasonably priced gas. Score! Anyway i'm sure that was boring
to read, but i was excited to find my way around to those places so 
I'm liking San Diego more than i expected to. Don't take me wrong
though. I do miss LA though, i miss the late night cafes, near by bars,
and even hollywood. i miss knowing my bartenders. i miss my parents. i
miss my friends. Ah well, i'll be back in a couple weeks. Till then i
should really attend to my studies.Yes i'm studying! i even went
to the library on Sunday! And NO it was not to go talk to girls and NO
i didn't sleep there and NO to whatever else you people messaged me
while i was there. I was really good about no partying and going out
too!... well for the first two days anyway...then i kind of caved and
went to a party and then to several bars... >_< but i will say
this now... NO MORE PARTYING /DRINKING!!...Sun-Wed that is.. heheh.

I think that just sums up what i've been up to lately. I really don't
have anything else to write about, but i'm sure as time goes on and
classes get worse i'll end up bitching about it in a future post. Oh
i'd also like to thank everybody who's welcomed me here, shown me
around, to those who visited me(Linda, Linh, Sue, Christine), and of
course those who saw me before i left and those who got me plastered
before i left. One more special thanks to Mr. James Yen for helping me
move and driving all the way here with a load of my crap. Thanks! Till
